2013 - 2014 Tentative Race Schedule as of 9/9/2013

Ray Tanner 5K - 10/12/2013 - Columbia, SC - 5 weeks away
Governor's Cup 8K - 11/9/2013 - Columbia, SC - 9 weeks away
Myrtle Beach 1/2 Marathon - 2/15/2014 - Myrtle Beach, SC - 23 weeks away
Rock 'n Roll Marathon - 4/13/2014 - Raleigh, NC - 31 weeks away
Diva 1/2 Marathon - 4/27/2014 - Myrtle Beach, SC - 33 weeks away

I am already locked in for the Ray Tanner 5K and will more than likely sign up for the Governor's Cup within the next 2-3 weeks.

I am wondering how crazy I am in trying to run a full and 1/2 marathon in the same month (April 2014).

I plan to be up to a distance of 15 miles by Feb. 1, 2014 in time to rest and be prepared for the Myrtle Beach 1/2 marathon on 2/15/2014.

I would be training on my own between 11/9/2013 through Jan 2014. I plan to still run at least 3 days a week. Tuesday would be short, speed work runs and Thursdays would be pace runs or a good "go-to" workout. I have listed my tentative mileage below for my long runs on Saturdays for the next 21 weeks. I'm sure that this will change as I learn more about training and safely increasing mileage.
